Adios xanga, Hola blogger

I've come across these cute little blogs on here, so I've decided to start my own, and give up xanga. I gave in, and did what everyone else was doing.

But at least this is a good kind of peer pressure.
Plus, it seems that this blogger has a lot more options than xanga. They are up to date, and in the know.

So, this is a new beginning. I'll post as often as I can, and update you on my super exciting life.

I'll tell y'all about myself in the next post. I should be getting to bed.

I'll give you a little tidbit to hold you over until the next -- I enjoy staying up late. But it's become a habit of staying up wayyy too late.

Oh, I've recently fallen in love with the musical works of Taylor Swift.
My favorite - "Love Story". The music video has brought me to tears, but before you think I'm ridiculously silly, let me explain.
Every time I hear this song, I think of my boyfriend Bobby. He's in the Army, and was recently on leave and I was able to spend 11 wonderful days with him (more on that later). Well, the 17th he left to go back across the pond. I dropped him off on base at Ft. Bragg, and then made the 45 min. drive back home. Well, needless to say, I was a little emotional from having to say goodbye to him, again. It's hard knowing I won't see him for another 6 months. I was driving down 40, and "Love Story" came on the radio, and I cried because it makes me think of him. Go watch the music video if you like Taylor Swift; and if you don't, well, give her a listen.

--
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
--
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said

Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
--
Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh oh

  1. I used to have a xanga, too. But you're right. Blogger is much better. Your story about your man made me a little bit sad, because I know that soon I'll be feeling the same way. My boyfriend isn't being deployed [yet] but he will be away from me for FOUR months. Which is a lot longer than he has ever been away from me before. Anyways, keep your head up, and maybe we can help each other through these tough times.
