who am i...?
i am a daughter of the King, rescued and redeemed from my pitiful sinful self.

i am an artist, struggling with motivation and procrastination. i have a million ideas - just a matter of putting paint to canvas, pen to paper. i enjoy watercolors and making jewelry the most. to me, art is life. without it, the world would be so dull. God has given each of us the ability to create, because He Himself is the ultimate creator and artist.
i am a southern girl, living in the queen city. i grew up in garner, nc and miss it badly at times. i'm a country girl at heart, a lover of sweet tea, carolina barbecue, collard greens, mason jars, and southern values.
i am a really poor blogger. this is probably the 672nd time i have tried to get back into this blogging thing (i'm not sure i was ever really into it). i will probably disappear for weeks at a time, but eventually, i always come back. so, fear not! i will attempt, as i always do, to stick to this. i really do like to write, i just don't do it nearly as often as i should.
i am an emotional cheeseball at times. my older posts really reflect that.
