Friday:
My Mum & I ventured over to the Southern Women's Show (i.e. like a state fair, but for women); we spent 5 hours there. That's right - FIVE hours. I didn't mind though, because it was like a shopaholic's dream. I found some great deals on jewelry to give as gifts to friends from an awesome boutique's booth. &, might I add, I won a $25 gift certificate to the Melting Pot!! I've never been before; I've heard it's delish. (Have any of y'all ever been? What did you get & how did you like it?)
Saturday:
not a lot of anything. haha I did plant flowers though!
Cosmos to be exact; I was quite proud of myself (b/c I'm not really of the domestic, gardening, cooking type).Went to church, and FINALLY signed up to volunteer in the church's children's program. I get to decide which age group to work with, and I think I'm going to go with preschoolers...call me crazy.
Today/Sunday:
work. bleh. Not too many exciting stories there.
And for the record, I need a car. I'm currently living at home (off to school again in the fall) and I don't have my own car. I've been driving one of my family's cars for the time being. Just a little Honda Accord or Civic would do for me. That's all I ask for. So, anyone giving away a CAR on their blog?? haha ;)
I heard the melting pot is amazing, I wanted to go when I was in Chicago, but we never made it. Of course they don't have any where I live, so you'll have to tell us how it is!
