So, this blog got a little bit of a makeover. I haven't written in it in months, so hopefully this time around I'll update it pretty regularly. At least once a week (keep your fingers crossed). I really got inspired by "Julie & Julia" and how Julie started this project of hers and consistently kept up with her blog for a year. It seemed to really help her, and I guess that's kind of what I'm hoping for. Plus I think a "project" like this is good for me. Basically, I was in a very serious relationship that started last year and ended September of '09. My ex broke up with me, and to be honest, it crushed me. It still hurts like crap, but I can feel myself slowly healing. And by slow, I mean at a snail's pace. haha So, after seeing the movie & thinking about it, I think keeping up with this blog will be therapeutic in a sense. And even if no one reads it, that's okay with me. I'm doing it moreso for myself, to get my thoughts out there, and to heal. I'm also a really crafty/artsy person, so I'll probably occasionally put up some of the jewelry I've made, or an art project I'm working on, stuff like that. I started writing a letter to my ex, and I'm thinking of finishing it and giving it to him when I see him (he has some books of mine, & I have some of his, & some other things). I haven't seen him since October, but we have talked on the phone. It's surprisingly not a mean letter, more like closure for me, final things I wanted to say and stuff. Maybe I'll post parts of it on here. Or would that be inappropriate? I don't know. I'll think about it.
Oh, and I'm typing this at 2:23 in the morning. I have got to do something about my sleep schedule. This is ridiculous.
As always,
Leah the Fabulous
