anyways, i'm moving this saturday!! i'm so excited! i'm just moving 15 minutes away from where i am now, but i love new beginnings. i'll have to post pictures of my cute new apartment once it's all set up. it's a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, and for some reason, i am super excited about having my own bathroom. i think just so i can decorate it to my heart's desire. it's going to have a yellow and light blue color theme. the shower curtain is so cute! by the way, marshall's has really good shower curtains and bath rugs for great prices. the rug i bought there was only $7.99, and the shower curtain was $14.99. i could easily spend a whole paycheck in that store. they have the cutest stuff.
i feel like i have SO much packing to do. i packed up some stuff in our living room today, but haven't really touched my bedroom aside from packing 1 box of books (and i still have more books). i have so much junk, it's ridiculous. i have been sifting through my things, trying to weed out the unfortunate goodwill-destined things. it just seems like a never-ending battle. and being an artist, i have all sorts of supplies that i don't really want to get rid of. i have paints, pencils, sketchbooks, random stuff i have project ideas for. those ideas though have a hard time coming to fruition... does anyone else have that problem? i think i have very poor motivation and time-management skills. i need to get back into oil painting - painting is very therapeutic and relaxing.

Moving can be exciting! But yes, I HATE packing. When we moved to OK, the Army sent movers to pack us up & at one point they said they couldn't take my art supplies. My art supplies take up HALF of a room on their own! I started freaking out [you know how much money would be wasted!] but when I told them it was part of my profession, suddenly they were okay with it & packed it with a smile on their faces. Anyway, Looking forward to seeing how you decorate!
